about
‘Tswana’ is the first single from the upcoming second album of Castle in Time Orchestra called ‘OTOTO’ which would be released in 2023. The minimalistic orchestral piece, speaks about the “Last cannibal”, eating parts of the universe: The highways, the boxing champ, the distant lights, the blue lagoon… It has been performed on stage since 2017 and is now celebrated in a studio recording.
lyrics
Said the last cannibal:
I ate it all
I ate the highways
And the stars
I ate the movies
And the cars
I ate the blue lagoon
---
I ate the characters:
The reformer
the boxing champ
the auto-lover
The wakeful stranger
I ate them all
And waited
---
The future came and went
Crackling wooden boats
There is a season and a time
to every purpose under the heavens
I ate the blue lagoon
I ate the blue lagoon
I ate the blue lagoon
I ate the blue lagoon
----
I ate the rooms
I ate the distant lights
ו ate the talking stick
I ate the bits and bites
